The PIM Running Festival at Crathes Castle is back!!
The PIM Running Festival is set to return to the stunning Crathes Castle estate on Saturday 12th September 2026. After selling out for the first time in 2025, demand is expected to be higher than ever.
Since taking over sponsorship of the Crathes Half Marathon in 2018, PIM has helped the event grow into a full running festival that attracts runners of all ages and abilities. In 2025, with entries capped at 900, the festival reached a major milestone by selling out — a clear sign of its popularity and place in the North East’s running calendar.
The 2026 festival will feature three race distances:
- Half Marathon
- 5K
- Kids’ 1.5K
Whether you’re an experienced runner, a casual participant or joining with family and friends, the PIM Running Festival offers a welcoming and community‑focused atmosphere against the beautiful backdrop of Crathes Castle.
